RefactorU is proud to announce its collaboration with Blackstone Technology Group, a large privately-held, global IT services and solutions firm.

Blackstone is based out of San Francisco, but they have offices in Denver, Houston, Colorado Springs, and Washington D.C. Centrally located in Denver, our local office has connections with the US Federal government, contractors, Fortune 1000 clients, and smaller businesses throughout the United States. They provide services in IT and engineering staffing, technical and management consulting, and software products.

But why RefactorU?

“Blackstone and RefactorU have partnered together to ensure the career success of current students and alumni,” explained Gary Boley, Director of Career Services, “We want to ensure the optimal career fit and match for each professional we prepare.”

RefactorU students and alumni represent diverse educational, cultural, and experiential backgrounds. Representing nearly every state, they come from an assortment of industries, and represent varying degrees of professional experience, both inside and outside the web development profession. Most are transitioning from other careers to find a more fulfilling career match. Many are veterans who have served their country.

To better serve and prepare RefactorU students for web development opportunities, Blackstone has agreed to provide training in technical interviewing on a one-to-one basis. Undoubtedly the impact for the students will be immediate in areas of confidence, feelings of preparedness, and overall career placement outcomes.

RefactorU has been actively seeking to deepen its employer connections and leverage employer expertise to provide unique learning experiences. We are excited that Blackstone is dedicating its time and effort to add equity and value to our students and alumni.
