What is the format of the Web Development bootcamp?

Unlike longer programs, we focus on the essentials. We understand the great personal sacrifices our students make to step out of a job and learn full time, so we design our courses to deliver the maximum value in the minimum amount of time.

We strip out the extras and "nice-to-haves" and ensure our graduates master the skills that really matter--building full-stack JavaScript applications. Companies will train new hires in their unique development processes and tools, so there's no need to spend bootcamp time learning all of them. It's the same situation with multiple languages--Ruby, Python, Java--better to become proficient at one and be able to translate than invest precious time and money trying to learn them all.

We minimize lecture-style learning to concentrate on core concepts, good practices, and learning just enough to get started. We integrate concepts across multiple exercises, and encourage problem-solving and self-learning. We utilize pair programming, group discussion, peer reviews, and project teams as necessary. With over two years' experience, multiple refinements to our curriculum, and an impressive track record of job placement, you can be sure your time and money are well spent.
